Commissioned Works Exploring Hybrid Radio Possibilities

CTM Radio Lab

Winning projects by Yara Mekawei, and the collaboration of Lynn Nandar Htoo, rEmPiT g0dDe$$, Gabriel Htoo, and Sarah Hanan, will premiere at CTM. The commissioned works explore the intersection of radio with live or generative installation mediums within the context of the theme of »affection.« Read more about their proposals.

d&b Soundcape

Soundscape is an object based audio platform by d&b audiotechnik which can open a new dimension in our listening experience. A series of workshops and concerts will allow participants to immerse themselves through the Soundscape system and gain firsthand experience.

Resynthesising the Traditional

This artistic lab regroups eight fellows selected via open call to engage critically and in-depth with aesthetic, discursive, and technological approaches when connecting to musical and cultural heritage. It culminates in a public output on Sunday 2 February.

Generative Space is the Place | 23–26 Jan 2025

Wilding AI Lab

This four-day lab hosted within the 4DSOUND environment at MONOM will assemble a group of participants to learn about the application of generative AI in spatial audio, and collectively explore the wilder territories of AI. Shaped as a mix of theoretical and hands-on components, and including morning skill-sharing sessions open to the public, the lab will culminate with a public presentation session.
