The festival’s new multi-year project »Resynthesising the Traditional« features performances, talks and an artistic lab that in various ways confront conservative views of culture as something frozen, solidified, and generally untouchable, thus resistant to any transformative practices.

Fundraising at CTM & transmediale

Donations for CADUS, and ALLMEP Alliance for Middle East Peace

Over the past 10 years CTM has collected donations for a variety of causes and organisations. In light of the ongoing Israel-Gaza war this year we, and our sister festival transmediale, will collect donations for ALLMEP – the Alliance for Middle East Peace, and CADUS, a humanitarian organisation delivering medical and technical emergency relief in crisis and war zones worldwide with current focuses on Gaza and Ukraine.

This year's collaboration between transmediale and CTM bring us works investigating some of the latest developments in generative AI, A/V storytelling, and data sonification via critical works from Hulubalang, Portrait XO, Rick Farin & Actual Objects, and ZULI.
