Built on 40 years of pioneering experience, d&b Soundscape is the world’s most sophisticated sound system. It has been trialled and toured all over the world, from musicals to festivals and concerts, and for performances by Björk, Brian Eno, or the London Philharmonic. At CTM 2025, a series of concerts within a dedicated d&b Soundscape space at the Sonnenraum in Arena will be given by the artists Eve Aboulkheir, Young Sibling and Bella Comsom. Ahead of their performance, Comsom will also speak about their practice with spatial audio.
Immersive audio workshops will also be hosted in this space. Music producer, sound designer, and composer Andrew Rahman will cover the theory and concepts behind object-based audio, dispelling myths and mysteries along the way. The composer and sound artist Brigitta Muntendorf, and d&b’s Soundscape creator Ralf Zuleeg will share inspirations on how to think differently about audio, introducing the basics of Soundscape and flowing through compositional possibilities with Object Based Audio.
