transmediale

Media art festival transmediale creates a space for critical reflection on cultural transformation from a post-digital perspective. Each year, transmediale and CTM converge to present one of the most relevant contemporary events for digital culture.

Shape+

SHAPE – Sound and Heterogenous Art and Performance in Europe is dedicated to innovative music and audiovisual art from Europe. Initiated by ICAS, the platform supports a roster of up-and-coming artists which changes yearly, facilitating exchange between musicians and festivals.

tekhnē is a collaborative project in which six European organisations aim to explore the emancipatory potential of technology in music and sound art.

Germany’s international cultural institute promotes cultural collaboration worldwide, initiating projects and partnerships that focus on shared artistic production and reflection, fostering worldwide mobility of people working in arts and culture, and strengthening cross-cultural networks from a global perspective.

DLF Kultur – Klangkunst

Deutschlandfunk Kultur is Germany’s national public radio station dedicated to culture. The weekly Klangkunst (sound art) broadcast was established to extend the formal possibilities of radio play, to experiment with new genres, and to introduce listeners to outstanding examples of international sound art.

Vorspiel is a city-wide programme of events taking place before and during the CTM and transmediale festivals. It sees many Berlin-based projects, spaces, collectives, and institutions come together to explore digital art and culture.
