New works that explore reconnecting with traditional sonic materials will be premiered on the d&b Soundscape spatial sound system at Haus der Visionäre in two concerts. On Thursday will be the premiere of »Oto Aulos« by Marcin Pietruszewski and aulos performer Lukas de Clerck, which centres on the creation of a new composition for aulos and computer. gamut inc focus on electro-acoustic and machine-built performances, sharpening a critique of mechanisation, digitality, and the human in between. This night, they wiill premiere new work composed for their custom build windynamic organ.

On Friday Sote will premiere »Sound Design In Far Sea«, where transformed echoes of Persian instruments and field recordings from Iran dissolve into shimmering layers of synthesis. CORIN will present »Resonance,« creating harmonic and rhythmic systems within non-Western musical ecologies by sampling the kulintang, a Filipino precolonial gong chime instrument.

The world premiere of »Sonic Energetics« is a shared ritual of bodily listening for overstimulated times. This experiential environment invites participants into a field of sub-bass and low light, where sound is met through the body as pressure.

Back-to-back club nights at RSO.Berlin await, with curated lineups by Ghana’s Oroko Radio, Latin American instigators Terminal, and the Egypt/Barcelona/Berlin-forged No_Stone. Featuring artists including TOCCORORO, DJ Babatr, Jay Mitta x Anti Vairas, NGHTCRWLR and more, expect a wide and wild selection of nu metal-influenced drum and bass, mutated hardstyle, trance-soaked cumbia, raptor house, Jersey Club, singeli, coldwave, guaracha and all manner of soundsystem groovage.

Premiering her new A/V show »Exuvie«, composer Noémi Büchi deepens her exploration of the human form and transformation. A filmed collaboration with dancer Rebeka Mondovics, Büchi places the body at the center of the visual frame. Presenting his new album »Without Us« with a live concert interwoven with his film of the same name, composer and percussionist Daniel Brandt pushes his exploration of collective dread and ecological unraveling into a speculative narrative driven by the slow violence of climate collapse and the possibilities and limits of individual agency.
