CTM’s new event format Exponential Function is just a few weeks away! This immersive warehouse rave will be taking place October 2nd at Berlin-Kreuzberg’s Haus der Visionäre, a recent addition to the city’s landscape that CTM will also return to for our 2026 festival.

We have a lot more news to share regarding the event format. Exponential Function. Several artists on the lineup – Japan’s leading otherworldly selector ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, Berlin’s playful no-holds-barred DJ Fuckoff, and the speed-bending mi-el – will be testing out the real-time possibilities of spatialised sound performance through a premiere combination of the brand-new Ambrio spatial DJ mixer and the immersive d&b Soundscape audio system.

The chill-out zone between Hall 1 and Hall 2 will be graced by a sculpture by Zuzanna Czebatul, curated by 3hd. The sculpture will be on display until midnight.

At Exponential Function, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, DJ Fuckoff, and mi-el will be testing out the real-time possibilities of spatialised sound performance through a premiere combination of the brand-new Ambrio spatial DJ mixer and the immersive d&b Soundscape audio system. Ahead of this event, we're pleased to present a workshop on the possibilities of live spatial sound mixing, by Ableton Live and Ambrio.

The workshop will take place 1 October 2025 at Ableton's headquarters in Berlin, and is limited to 15 people who will be selected via open call. To apply, please fill in the short application form via this link by end of day 24 September.

Hailing from Cambridge Bay (Ikaluktutiak), Nunavut, Tanya Tagaq carves the traditional practice of throat singing into a form of ancestral resonance wherein improvisation, experimentation, and the immediacy of visual and performance art form a new ritual of confrontation and survival. She returns to Berlin for the first time in XX years. An opening act will be announced soon.

Atmospheric black metalists Panopticon descend upon Berlin with the crushing weight of mountainous, eternally hungry nature. Summoned in full force for the first time on European soil, selected works from their albums »And Again Into the Light,« »The Rime of Memory« and the forthcoming »Det Hjemsøkte Hjertet« will be presented—a triptych the band has dubbed The Laurentian Trilogy.

With a new album emerging soon through Eisenwald Production, special guests Sunken will drag the spirit into fathoms of sorrow  depressive currents, and ethereal melody merging into a suffocating undertow.
