CTM, Urbiks Music, and spæs lab present a three‑day masterclass in spatial audio. Participants will delve into the practices shaping today’s most advanced spatial sound production. The masterclass is composed of five workshops and concludes with a sixth session on translating studio work to live spatial performance in collaboration with d&b Soundscape.

This fifth workshop in this masterclass series focuses on the final stage of the spatial production chain, covering essential quality control for loudness, fold-downs, and binaural translation. The session details requirements for producing consistent metadata packages and designing future-proof archives for complex spatial assets. Participants leave with a clear understanding of how to prepare release-ready assets that meet current distribution platform standards.

Participants will focus on ADM, binaural renders, QC, platform requirements, and archiving, in order to achieve release-ready assets and documentation standards.

Learning objectives:

  • QC for loudness, fold‑downs, binaural translations.
  • Produce consistent metadata and packages.
  • Design future‑proof archives.
