Exploring acoustic heritage and recording lineages, this first workshop defines the core concepts of architectural listening and spatial dramaturgy. Through a compact lecture and curated listening session, the workshop examines how form, material, and decay function as essential compositional parameters. Participants establish a shared vocabulary for these phenomena, learning to perceive and utilise physical space as a musical instrument.
