This workshop will consist of a basic explanation of Container's set-up and methods of producing while demonstrating various examples along the way, showing how the 4 track acts as a natural warm distortion unit, how beats will interact with internal feedback, how various ways tape loops and field recordings can be mixed in with the beats, and some drum programming strategies. He'll speak about the incorporation of distortion and chaos and how they can be used to achieve intensity, as well as problems that can be caused and encountered in a live setting as a result of using these techniques, and the delicate balance between intensity and pleasure and the struggle to create something that is both extreme but also fun and enjoyable.

Container replaces Rozzma's workshop, who was unable to attend. Invited to CTM by No_Stone collective, Container will also perform at RSO.Berlin on 30.1.
