Elijah is a writer, dj, and lecturer with 15 years in the independent music and culture scene in London. His learning from running a Grime label, managing artists, and being an artistic director and cultural documenter are distilled across his project the »Yellow Squares,« a short form notes project on Instagram. Elijah has shared over 1000 Yellow Squares on creativity, music scenes, the future of social media, and the culture industry over the last three years, and has compiled the best of those in his debut book Close The App, Make The Ting. This talk brings the project to a conclusion that shows the process behind the writing, visual installations, album, book, and lecture series he took around the world.
