Sunn O))) Perform New Album In Two Berlin Shows

A full-force communion of volume.

The hooded legends transform silent green into a seismic chamber of amplified ritual.

With a new self-titled album coming in 2026 from Seattle institution Sub Pop, Sunn O))) bring their first major statement of new material since 2019. Active for nearly three decades, Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson have carved out a singular space between avant-garde composition and amplified extremity, building vast, slow-moving structures from guitar, bass and sustained tone. Set among forests and open landscape, the studio’s environment fed directly into the sessions, with natural ambience and field recordings woven into the material. In a notable shift, O’Malley and Anderson handled all instrumentation themselves, returning to the stripped core of the duo format after years of high-profile collaborations. The six expansive compositions incorporate piano and environmental textures alongside their signature low-frequency resonance, creating panoramic pieces shaped as much by air and atmosphere as by distortion.

We're bringing Sunn to silent green for two performances of the new album on July 6th and 7th. Ahead of the official pre-sale, we're offering access to exclusive presale tickets as of Friday, February 20th at 11:00 AM (CET). Use the code: HUGE RIFF.

General ticket sales start Monday, February 23rd at 11:00 AM (CET).
