Dear friends of CTM, the Berlin ticket sales agency KoKa36 unexpectedly filed for bankruptcy a few days ago. Along with around 30 Berlin clubs and promoters, we are affected by a significant loss of revenue. We estimate a loss of EUR 12,000 in revenue for events at our recently concluded festival and upcoming concerts, with little chance of recovering any of it, or certainty of when that might happen.
While CTM receives public funding for our festival, this does not cover the concerts we independently organise throughout the year, and as a non-profit we hold no financial reserves to absorb losses like this. If you appreciate our work and our ongoing concert programme, the most direct way to help is to simply come to our upcoming events, maybe buy an extra ticket for a friend, or make a donation via our Supporter Ticket.
