Call for CTM 2022 Volunteers

For its 23rd edition, CTM will once again welcome a team of volunteers to support the preparation and realisation of the festival. This year, as in past, the festival would not be possible without the commitment of a diverse community of contributors.

Festival volunteers will receive free entry to festival events as well as the opportunity to gain an inside look into festival operations, and engage with international artists and professionals. Access to and participation in all CTM 2022 events will take place under the »2G rule« (vaccinated/recovered). Please read the following information before applying.

In-Person Event Access and Covid Regulations

In-person access to CTM 2022 is offered under the »2G« rule, and eventually under the »2G+« rule depending on government regulations at the time of the festival. This means that access can only be granted with a valid ticket, in combination with photo ID and a QR code (either digital via Corona Warn or CovPass apps, or printed) proving one of the following:

  • certification of full vaccination, of which the second dose was at least 14 days ago

  • certification of a PCR test result proving a SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection at least 28 days ago and not older than 6 months, or, if older than 6 months, certification of a PCR test result proving a SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection plus minimum one vaccination against Covid-19 at least 14 days ago

  • In the case of »2G+«: one of the above plus certification of a negative Covid test not older than 24 hours

Volunteers arriving from outside the EU can apply for a digital Covid certificate at certain local pharmacies, free of charge, upon presentation of your passport and proof of vaccination with a vaccine recognised by the European Medicines Agency. If your proof of vaccination is in a language other than English or German, be sure that your name, date of vaccination, and name of vaccine can be clearly seen on the documents. You can find participating pharmacies by entering a Berlin address on this website.

Please note that access to events at Berghain will require that you install Berghain’s contact tracing app. All other venues will require registration via the Corona Warn or Luca apps, or by leaving your contact details on a form provided at the entrance.

Visitors must wear an FFP2 mask when waiting in line outside of a venue.

Please note that the above access rules are subject to change, in compliance with any changes to government restrictions or policies regarding Covid-19. We will communicate any significant changes to selected volunteers via email.
