Welcome to the feverish performance universe of Tianzhuo Chen. The Beijing-born artist constructs a chimera of live music, dance, installation, costume and video into hallucinated club theatre: overloaded atmospheres where sacred figures frolic in pop-cultural debris. Performers pass through elaborate costumes, choreography and states of exhaustion. The body is suspended between ecstasy and collapse.
