Sound Practice Research is a two-year Master's journey at Folkwang University of the Arts. Guided by the artistry of Jan St. Werner and an international team of faculty, this unique programme merges cultural lore, visual art and performance. Within these creative studios, sound is treated as an autonomous medium that reshapes space, moving far beyond traditional music into the realm of experimental composition.
