Born in Budapest, Oliver Wolf was winning audiences as a pianist and singer before his teens. He began piano at six, singing at eleven, and at thirteen won a Hungarian television talent show, later being named Young Jazz Musician of the Year in 2018 by a professional jury. After studying jazz at the Béla Bartók Conservatory and Leeds College of Music, he began shaping a sound that carries the harmonic instincts of jazz into contemporary R&B, soul and pop. His music is built around the voice and piano but not confined by either, drawing on an instinct for the directness of a good song.
