South London collective Microplastics emerge from a warped zone of industrial folk, anti-folk and noise rock, the traditions of pastoral songcraft dragged through the septic wreckage of modern life. Their music lurches between ragged guitar, battered percussion, drones and warped electronics, carrying the atmosphere of a folk tradition assembled from contaminated materials. Chronoplastic ballads and folk music for polymer people, their songs spark with ecological and dystopian charge, oozing with strange humour.
