French producer and Casual Gabberz member Evil Grimace coined the term frapcore to describe his combo of the punishing kicks and high tempos of gabber, jumpstyle and hardcore with the samples and rhythms of ‘90s and ‘00s French hip-hop. Tracks hit with the blunt force of industrial machinery wielding a warped sense of humour, rap phrases flung into clouds of distortion as kick drums are driven to punishing speeds.
