Gaspard Emma Hers, AKA DJ Würm, draws on the tasty fringe flavors of early rave, black metal, hardcore, folklore and low-budget horror, digesting and reworking the strange and unusual into a personal mythology. There's a diaristic quality to their work, written through the blood of imaginary creatures. When they do the Würm, these soggy SOV realities realities begin to leak into one another and onto the soundsystem, a certain degree of noise that finds itself fascinated with atmosphere: modular synthesis canoodles with hurdy-gurdy, sound art and visual storytelling foregrounded as much as attention to 'club-readiness'.
