Evan Majumdar-Swift honed his early sound around the precision of bleep and electro, then pushed steadily toward denser arrangements filled with warped synths and unusually tender melodic writing. Hyper-detailed and futuristic, enriched with melancholy and bright digital tones, darker harmonic turns shadow his work. That emotional pull became increasingly central as his music expanded into song-based structures and collaborations with vocalists including Iceboy Violet, Cadence Weapon, Skee Mask and Special Request, along with his own vocals. MIDI often forms the skeleton of his pieces before sound design begins, giving the productions a peculiar clarity beneath all the digital deformation and allowing melodies to remain emotionally legible while their surrounding textures scramble.
