Vorspiel 2027

Open Call by transmediale and CTM

Vorspiel is aimed at Berlin-based independent project spaces, platforms, initiatives, curators, and artists that wish to propose an event or activity to take place within the initiative.

Vorspiel 2027 will take place from 15 – 31 January 2027, overlapping with transmediale and CTM Festivals. Installations, performances, presentations, concerts, and other formats dedicated to digital art & culture and experimental music and sound are central to the programme. Applicants must have access to a venue or space in Berlin where they can independently organise an event. Production and organisation costs associated with Vorspiel events must be covered by the participating organisers. transmediale and CTM will coordinate communication and promotion of the programme via a Vorspiel website and social media platform, and print materials.

Schedule and Deadlines

The application period is open until 6 November 2026 (23:59 CET)
Vorspiel 2027 runs 15 – 31 January 2027
