ohjeelo's sets feel like fast-moving conversations between continents. Born in Ivory Coast and shaped by years of listening across diasporic club cultures, she snaps together Afro-Caribbean rhythms, bass pressure and club sounds from around the world: bouyon, coupé-décalé, grime, gqom, jungle, and percussive electronics collide and refract in her selections, guided less by genre allegiance than by momentum, texture, and emotional charge. A Rinse France and Oroko Radio resident, her broadcasting is a space for storytelling. As in her performances, they carry a vibrant kinetic energy restless and rhythm-forward, celebrating connection through motion, that joyful friction and forward momentum.
