Working with synthetic, electroacoustic, and hand-built instruments, Miłosz Kędra orbits around the search for new tonal worlds through reimagined timbres and altered tunings, expanding the dialogue between technology and material sound. The pipe organ has become the central vessel of this exploration, first as the focus of their debut EP For Aeons (2021), and later as the living core of their internal diapasons, a work that drew international attention for its tactile redefinition of the instrument. Rescued from churches across Greater Poland, the organ’s reclaimed pipes form both the physical and symbolic foundation of Kędra’s current research, their voices revived through digital processing and patient craftsmanship.

Alongside composition, Kędra constructs instruments and develops performance systems that dissolve boundaries between acoustic and synthetic sound. They are currently pursuing a master’s degree in New Media Music at the Academy of Music in Poznań, after completing a bachelor’s in Electroacoustic Composition during which they built their own pipe organ from salvaged materials.
