Mariana Berezovska is a Ukrainian Berlin-based writer, editor, curator, and creative producer best known as co-founder and editor-in-chief of Borshch Magazine, a biannual print and digital forum for electronic music on and beyond the dancefloor that foregrounds artistic, cultural, and political dialogue within music communities. Borshch has published themed issues and featured conversations with a wide range of artists and thinkers, and under Mariana’s direction it has grown into a platform that spans print, radio, events, and collaborations with scenes and festivals internationally.
Berezovska writes widely about music, culture, and social issues, with bylines in outlets including Resident Advisor, 032c, Year Zero, Tight, and Judas, focusing on stories that stretch beyond club culture to address inequality, discrimination, identity, and community. She also curates and produces cross-disciplinary projects and event series in Berlin such as TIES, which celebrates the resilience and solidarity of diasporic music communities through performances and workshops. Her work extends into documentary and cultural production, exploring the intersections of sound, society, and shared space.
