Writer, designer, musician, artist and all-around excellent person, Eiliyas is one of those probers of sound you hear so much about, exploring how it entangles with culture and psyche, and the spaces between listening and being. Across installations and improvisations, audio essays and sonic experiments, improvisation and conceptual rigour are threaded through a palette that digests genre boundaries and foregrounds sound as both material and idea. His work often riffs on the Blues in Technology, a line of inquiry that nods to Baldwin and McLuhan while turning feedback and resonance into tools for thought and feeling wrapped inside sonic forms.

Eiliyas is the host and curator of Mixtape Menage, a nomadic platform and radio-inflected space for meeting creators and cultural facilitators through their music collections, fostering dialogue across scenes and continents. He is also the artistic director of BLACK Communion, a Berlin series celebrating explorative and experimental practices within the African diaspora that seeks to create connective terrain for artists from North America, Europe, and Africa to convene and converse through sound.
