Dror Feiler is a composer, saxophonist, visual artist, and political activist born in Tel Aviv and based in Sweden since 1973. Working across composition, performance, noise music, and large-scale sound installations, his practice is marked by an uncompromising engagement with politics, conflict, and resistance. His work frequently treats sound as material, force and duration.
Feiler has performed and exhibited internationally across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Japan. He has presented numerous exhibitions in Stockholm and beyond between 2020 and 2024, as well as large-scale compositions for soloists and orchestras.
Alongside orchestral and ensemble compositions, his recent work has focused on expansive installations and performative structures that reflect on time, memory and violence. Projects such as »Arkestra« bring together music machines, sounding objects, light, and video into bunker-like environments that operate as both refuge and defence systems.
