As an artist Chloe Lula works within a strain of techno that values depth, restraint, and long attention spans. Raised in San Francisco, she comes to electronic music through a classical background, having trained as a cellist before leaving the conservatory in her late teens and relocating to Berlin. That shift places her inside the city’s club infrastructure while keeping one foot in composed and electroacoustic practice. The overlap shapes a sound built from texture, tension, and slow transformation. Alongside club focused material she continues to write for cello, developing ambient and electroacoustic live performances that treat tone and space as primary structure rather than decoration.
