The alter-ego of Amparo Battaglia, Catnapp's world of dynamo beats and unfiltered lyricism is a fount of vulnerable, defiant energy. Tempered in Buenos Aires’s DIY underground, she swiftly built a reputation for aggressive low-end and blunt confessionals of club ruin and bedroom breakdown.

Based in Berlin since 2015, her releases on Monkeytown Records and her own imprint NAPP Records drip with her blend of futuristic, nostalgia-laden pop laced liberally with trance hooks, R&B slap, and nu metal aggression sewn up with tenderness. On stage she trades the usual DJ posturing for a messier sort of fun, shouting her lines amidst moments of near-silent tension and putting the smackdown on expectation with sudden tempo shifts and distortion.
