Anthea Caddy’s practice investigates spatial energy, its physical propagation, and the ways it is projected through materials. Working across installation and performance, she engages with unconventional environments and employs specialized loudspeaker systems and amplification techniques to uncover and amplify spatial phenomena embedded in the spaces we inhabit.

Her work has been performed and exhibited internationally across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Europe, including presentations at the Tesla Museum in Zagreb, Liquid Architecture National Festival in Australia, Diapason Gallery in New York, the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig, the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, Observatori Festival in Valencia, ISSUE Project Room in New York, Goethe-Institut Boston, Project Space Gallery in Melbourne, the Wrocław Museum of Contemporary Art, the Internationales Musikinstitut Darmstadt, Borealis in Norway, Wien Modern, the Tesla Center of Media Arts, ICA London, MaerzMusik, and Sonic Acts in Amsterdam.
