A multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker enamored with the converging spot of performance, the moving image, and live filming.

Rebecca Salvadori is a London based, Italo-Australian video artist and filmmaker. Her works act as constellations of highly personal and willfully elusive heterogeneous elements: multifaceted portraits of moments, people and environments. Over the last 15 years she has consistently engaged in experimental music, with a specific interest in finding ways to connect the moving image with sound practices and live performance. Among many other works, she is the author of »Rave Trilogy« (2017-2020); »The Sun Has No Shadow« (2022); »TRESOR TAPES« (2022).

In 2022 Salvadori developed the hybrid film experience »Messengers« reflecting on the nature of friendship and music. Recent collaborations include »A Forbidden Distance« (2024) with Saint Abdullah and Eomac and commissioned by Semibreve, Berlin Atonal, Unsound and Sónar. Salvadori is co-founder of the collective Tutto Questo Sentire. In 2024 she was nominated for the Jarman Award and CIRCA PRIZE.
