The collaboration of Robin Hayward, Peder Simonsen, and Martin Taxt took shape in 2010, following Hayward’s groundbreaking creation of the first fully microtonal tuba in partnership with German instrument maker B&S. Since 2012, the trio has delved deep into the unique tonal landscapes of Just Intonation, utilizing the Hayward Tuning Vine both as a compositional tool and, at times, as an integral part of their performances.
