A multifaceted cultural producer with deep roots in Central and Eastern Europe’s underground electronic music scene.

Formerly a music curator at Bratislava’s Nová Cvernovka arts center, Kascak is also the co-founder of the techno party Nočná and the founder of SPFM, a booking agency representing underground electronic artists across the region. A Ph.D. candidate in Digital Culture & Creative Industries at Masaryk University in Brno, Matwe merges academic insight with practical experience, teaching festival theory as a freelance curator and educator. His five-year role as a core member of Slovakia’s Pohoda Festival enriched his curatorial perspective, which he now brings to various projects and events.

A thoughtful DJ, Matwe is inspired by the diverse festivals and gatherings he frequents worldwide, performing and connecting the global electronic music community.
