Bringing contemporary performance and dance into immersive art environments, blurring the lines between digital and live experience.

Hall’s work explores the fluidity between virtual and physical worlds, enriching the visceral, embodied aspects of mixed-reality performances. After touring globally with top Australian dance companies, he launched Venusian Slip in 2018, a project that opened doors in Naarm's dance scene and led to a series of acclaimed choreographic works. Among these, he co-created Surprize!Surprise! with Andrew Treloar for Lucy Guerin Inc’s PIECES program, and collaborated with Japanese artists Kazuhiko Hiwa, Makoto Uemura, and Yui Masukawa on Running Machine for the BLEED Festival.

In 2021, through a Solitude1 Residency with the Tanja Liedtke Foundation, he developed Maelstrom, a digital choreography installation premiering at MARS Gallery and Metro Arts Brisbane. Hall's experimental project BONANZA! with Dr. Sam Mcgilp—featuring dialogues with Taiwan's NAXS Future and Chinese digital artist Lu Yang—won a Green Room Award and was showcased at the Melbourne International Film Festival. Since then, he has contributed to Lu Yang’s Doku at ACMI and the Sydney Opera House, and helmed Body Crysis/身體災變 with NAXS Future at The Substation.
