Her work explores socio-political themes as well as personal reflections on identity, gender, and sexuality. Each performance is a manifesto, a raw exploration of what it means to exist and engage with the complexities of contemporary society. Holseter has earned a reputation for her kinetic live performances, grinding together improvisation, hardware, and software to spawn eerie, oozingly captivating soundscapes. Her sets baffle classification, winding through atmospheric to confrontational, adapting to each venue even as they tackle themes of intersectional feminism, gender, and emotional depth.
Since breaking out, she’s showcased her work at notable festivals and venues across Europe and the U.S., including CTM, London’s New River Studios, and venues in Istanbul, New York, and Vienna. Holseter is also dedicated to mentoring women, non-binary, and trans individuals in DJing and VJing, fostering a more inclusive space in electronic music.
