Blending roles as DJ, journalist, and cultural curator, Rusu co-founded The Attic Magazine, where he also serves as editor-in-chief. His DJ sets are famously eclectic, moving seamlessly across genres and regions—from gritty techno and acid house to African, Middle Eastern, and contemporary Romani rhythms.
Since 2016, Dragoș has curated the Outernational Days festival in Bucharest, a unique annual event celebrating multicultural music and subcultures. He was a resident DJ and event promoter at the Bucharest club Kran, and has previously led projects such as the online magazine Beat Factor and served as a resident at the city’s influential Control Club.
