Connecting past, present, and future through sound and myth.

Daniela Huerta channels mythology and storytelling into a richly layered artistic practice under the moniker Baby Vulture. Now Berlin-based, the Mexican  multimedia artist and sound designer bridges the real and imaginary, creating vivid sonic landscapes that probe the depths of the human psyche. Combining field recordings, sound archives, deconstructed rhythms, and live sampling, she crafts hyperreal, immersive sound-realities that pull listeners into emotionally charged, otherworldly experiences.

Rooted in myth and transformation, her approach is equal parts raw and refined, a boundary-pushing exploration of sound as a narrative force. Her collaborative spirit shines in projects like KOAXULA, a sound activation duo with Colombian artist Natalia Escobar, which reclaims mythological female archetypes and fading cosmovisions to forge hybrid narratives of existence. With Concepción Huerta, she forms HUERTA ENSAMBLE, creating ecological sonic landscapes that challenge listeners to perceive the world anew.
