A PhD student at Royal Holloway, University of London, Anyadi’s research centres on the cultural significance of memorial souvenirs within Igbo Nigerian communities in Nigeria, Germany, and England. Through 3D modelling and the integration of oral histories, her work aims to create an accessible digital archive that preserves and shares these cultural narratives. Alongside her academic pursuits, Cynthia serves as Head of Partnerships for Black Geographers CIC, where she leads the ‘Fi Wi Road’ summer internship program. This initiative provides paid opportunities and networking support for Black students in Geography and Geoscience, fostering an inclusive academic and professional environment
