Blending her love of astrology and the international club sounds of the Latinx diaspora, the multi-faceted US-born artist has transfixed London’s nightlife with her tumultuous and mind-boggling performances. Eschewing the boundaries of genre, her searing releases draw from reggaeton, dembow, Brazilian funk, and the most mournful perreo you ever heard, to industrial and noise-infused mysticism and magick to ensure hands stay up and jaws stay dropped.

Co-founder of London’s queer Latinx collective and club night SUZIO, Malik’s intuitively deft and riotous sets have garnered praise across international publications, and regular appearances on Rinse FM and a residency on Foundation FM have ensured her message is being poured into more ears than ever. Following up her debut EP Industrial Princess with this year’s brvtal combo punch of Club Romantico’s MACHETE/777 featuring Latin Grammy winner La Favi and label head Florentino, Malik’s honeyed sonic palette grows ever larger and more aggressively enrapturing.
