    Rising screamo queen Lil Mariko makes hardcore meme music – and it’s working.

    • In this DJ workshop, Lush Lata will introduce participants to working with sound and share insights into her own way of selecting music, what to look out for when mashing up different genres, and the joy of remixes.

    Practical topics around using CDJs, such as beat matching, BPM, EQing, looping, effects will also be covered, as well as a general theoretical understanding of sound and mood curation. Lush Lata will also share her experiences of how it is to be working professionally as a DJ, and touch on topics of how to promote oneself as a DJ and get bookings.

    Please note that this workshop is open to womxn participants only.

    Requirements

    No skills are needed, just an interest in music and DJing.
