
Since unveiling their debut album De Doden Hebben Het Goed in 2015, they have blazed an unending trail for musical darkness, bolstering their notoriety with apocalyptic live performances and producing two subsequent albums – De Doden Hebben Het Goed II and III, released in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
Emerging once more in early 2022, this time from the involuntary solitude of a plague-bound world with their fourth studio album, There’s Always Blood At The End Of The Road is a ferocious tour-de-force, born of frustration and the ever-burning flame of hatred for the modern world. The new record marks a significant departure and their most violent and focused work to date. It steers clear from the typical black metal themes and concepts, zoning in on the struggle within, trying to overcome the fact we are all made from that same filth. Exploring places which the previous trilogy didn’t even scratch the surface of, both lyrically and musically, it’s a first hand look into pure disgust, a psychotic ride with synths, tape recorders, hot club jazz, and distressing samples.
