
From 2012-2014 he was the principal investigator of project »Survey Music and Media. Empirical Basic Data and Theoretical Modeling of the Mediatization of Everyday Music Reception in Germany,« funded by the German Research Foundation. In 2016-2018 he took on the role of investigato in the EU Horizon 2020 R&D project »Artist-to-Business-to-Consumer Audio Branding System – ABC DJ.« From 2018-2019 he held the title of visiting professor at the Department of Journalism and Communication Research, Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, Germany.
