The Brazilian, Berlin-based composer investigates sound through conceptual pieces, music, commissioned works, and dance music.

The foundations of her work are currently centered on researching possibilities with low frequency sound, sub-bass, bodies, subwoofers, infrasound, and their capacity to make themselves present in a space. Her practice stems from installations to live performances as sonic propositions, alongside the possibilities of interaction between human/architectural bodies and sound waves, using field recordings and analogue and digital synthesis. Egedy articulates the cross-over between sonorous and musical language to investigate communication between beings.

Co-running the label Coisas Que Matam (Things That Kill), she researches the relations between light and sound with Camille Laurent, and is Executive of Operations at Monom, Berlin’s Center for Spatial Sound. Egedy has exhibited her works in places such as CTM Festival (Berlin), Kunstfest Weimar, Zentrale (Vienna), Patchlab Festival (Krakow), Museu de Arte Moderno (Buenos Aires), MIS – Museu da Imagem e do Som (São Paulo), Mamba Negra party (São Paulo), and Festival Novas Frequências (Rio de Janeiro).

In 2023 she among the artists supported by the SHAPE+ initiative.
