With an extensive pan-african sound, he began reaching the hearts of large crowds outside of the Rotterdam and Amsterdam scenes he came up in, making appearances at Panorama Bar, Nuits Sonores, DGTL, DJOON, North Sea Jazz, De School, Dekmantel Selectors, and more. Reconnecting with his sense of self as an artist and producer in 2018, he expanded his scope to include mainstream black music such as afropop, R&B, trap, dancehall, and more. Louzolo’s vision is fueled by artists like Drexciya, Black Coffee, Burna Boy, Jeff Mills, and Shinedoe.

His comeback symbolises a deeply personal need to connect African traditional, ancestral sounds with progressive sounds of intergalactic electronic music. The ultimate expression of his break from his former scene is the birth of his label Wokoundou, which is not just a record label but a world in itself, connecting the then and now of electronic and futuristic African sounds. His long-awaited debut album African Gold features 18 different artists from all over the world, fusing genres like afropop, R&B, amapiano, kuduro, afrotech, house, and techno. It was released in 2022.
