The Franco/Guadeloupean DJ, producer, and cultural programmer from the Barcelona scene creates a chaotic rhythmic universe.

His sound is punk, deconstructed, modern, Afrofuturistic, distorted, dubby, hard, and fried. Starting by playing jungle, drum ‘n’ bass, dubstep, and grime in the local undergrounds of the city where he grew up in the Northwest of France, later he moved to Manchester, where he merged his love of punk music with electronic music. Developing as a vocalist, he then moved to Montreal, where he integrated into the afro-electronic scene, DJing in bars and clubs. Moving to Barcelona four years ago, he became a member of the experimental afro-diasporic music collective Jokkoo.

Co-programmer of the Electrónica en Abril festival in Madrid as well as  different events in the »FO«" space in Madrid, Mookie is also part of different musical and visual projects, including BLKM3TA and Mookie & opoku.
