The Montreal-based electronic musician, singer, songwriter, and DJ explores the creative possibilities of hardware material and software.

While she’s best known for her electronic music, she makes music in a wide range of styles including club music, ambient, techno, pop, rock and spoken poetry. Davidson has released five solo albums under her own name and many more with other projects such as Essaie pas, Marie Davidson & L’Oeil nu, DKMD, SLEAZY, and Les momies de Palerme.

She has released on international music labels such as Ninja Tune, Cititrax (Minimal Wave), DFA Records, and Holodeck Records, among others. She produces music in a wide range of styles including Club Music, Ambient, Techno, Pop, Rock and Spoken Poetry. While much of her work is introspective, sometimes qualified as dark and heavy, elements of humor can be found, and her DJ sets focus on having fun with the crowd and are meant for dancing.
