
Her intention is to explore deliberate states of sound by examining relationships among sound surroundings. Besides performing live she has also worked in film scoring, including her work with Peter Kubelka’s Arnulf Rainer film strips and gender-critical silent movies from the early 20th century. Furthermore, she has been involved in research projects at the intersection of the artistic potential of digital networking (The Choir and The Sound System) and the development of digital instruments modulated by environmental data (A Sound That Never Was).
Forciniti has performed at music festivals such as Wien Modern (AT), Skaņu Mežs (LV), Ars Electronica (AT), Unsound Festival (PL), and UH Fest (HU). In 2022 she was selected to be part of the SHAPE+ platform for innovative music and audiovisual art. In 2019 she finished the university program Computer Music and Electronic Media (ELAK) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and currently she studies computer music and composition at the Anton Bruckner Private University and Postdigital Lutherie at the University of Art and Design Linz (AT), focussing on digital music performance, improvised music and tangible interaction design
