Hari Shankar Kishore's music as HVAD is a cyclone through the new classical Hindustani techno diaspora.

For the past 15 years, the Copenhagen-based musician has been involved with numerous boundary-pushing projects, such as Albertslund Terror Korps, Kid Kishore, Syg Nok, and Kommunal Dubplate Service. His work as a vinyl cutting technician shines through in his compositions and live shows. He plays older Indian instruments like esraj, tanpura, and tabla alongside modern electronics, all of which are manipulated. The original recordings are cut on dubplates and are one of the main instruments in the studio and on stage.

In 2022, he started the record label ULLLU as a platform for future releases. The first release was the album Notice a Tiny Scratch for the Blue Behind, which is a collaboration with singer Abdullah Miniawy. The second release was a solo HVAD double-LP called YUG. The album reflects a continuum of more than a decade creating a personal, musical language.
