Daniel Blumberg has released two critically acclaimed solo albums on Mute, Minus (2018) and On&On (2020). Since then he has composed the score for the film »The World To Come« (directed by Mona Fastvold, 2020) which won an Ivor Novello Award for Best Original Film Score.

Alongside his solo output he operates as GUO with saxophonist Seymour Wright and works with Elvin Brandhi as BAHK.

His third solo album GUT will be released on Mute in Spring 2023.
