    • The last three months of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression on Ukraine continues to destroy and scatter the lives of millions, including artistic and music communities. What was an aspiring, vivid community of creatives and talents contributing to enriching and pluralising Ukrainian realities, is currently an endangered ecosphere forced into resistance and exodus. CTM Festival stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and aims to contribute in supporting its voices to be heard.

    RSO’s third floor showcases a multitude of voices in the Ukraine’s experimental and electronic music scene. Artists hailing from different Ukrainian cities explore a variety of styles and sounds. Opening the night will be Katarina Gryvul, an aspiring vocalist and experimental musician that bridges acoustic and electronic music, as can be heard in her latest album Tysha. The Ukrainian-born, Polish-bred, and Austrian based artist released Tysha only two weeks before the full-scale invasion began. Kyiv-based artist Koloah aka Voin Oruwu, will perform parts of his latest ambient album Serenity, which was released during the war. Diana Azzuz and Rina Priduvalova follow with an investigation of hyper-contemporary club sounds. Emerging artist Costa will share her nonlinear explorations of dance music and breaks. Rounding out the night will be Dagestan-born and Odesa-raised artist Gael, as well as Odesa native Nastya Vogan. As residents at the infamous ∄ club in Kyiv, they share the sound of the new generation that was set to make itself heard internationally.

    This showcase aims to remind both the audience and music circles to continue to support the artists of Ukraine and all victims of this war, most of which are struggling for survival and for their right to self-determination.
