An alias of Dylan Scheer, the Brooklyn-based electronic producer and performer started hosting and playing shows, as well as releasing tapes, under the moniker in Boston.

From there, they moved to New York in 2014 and quickly became part of the city's experimental electronic scene. Their early live hardware sets were recognised for their often stark mode of sample manipulation and collage, their dynamic narrative compositions, and their refusal to adhere to any one genre. Their live sets maintain a similar sense of precariousness. They work samples and their synthesized sounds into polyrhythmic infectious grooves which threaten to break at any moment, unpredictably giving way to manic frenzy, or complete pause. Their studio recordings exist, in part, as documentation of their performances, and are all recorded live.
